This and That

This and That Synopsis

This deeply personal collection of poems invites readers into the quiet, meaningful moments of an ordinary life-where memory, nature, relationships, and reflection gently intertwine. Through vivid storytelling and heartfelt honesty, the author explores themes of love, ageing, loneliness, resilience, and the simple beauty found in everyday experiences.

From encounters with strangers to cherished family bonds, from the wisdom of growing older to the comfort of animals and nature, each poem offers a glimpse into life's emotional landscape. There is humour, sorrow, tenderness, and insight-woven together with a calm, observant voice that speaks directly to the reader's heart.

Richly complemented by the author's own illustrations, this collection is not only a literary journey but also a visual one. It is a celebration of life as it is lived-imperfect, thoughtful, and deeply human-reminding us that wisdom often lies in the smallest moments.
