Metamorpho

Metamorpho Synopsis

Power can save the world-or erase the man who wields it. Legendary DC writer Dan Jurgens reinvents Metamorpho's origin with high adventure and human consequence. Before he was a hero, Rex Mason was an adventurer chasing danger, discovery, and glory wherever it could be found.

But when ancient forces collide with human ambition, the cost of curiosity becomes permanent-and the consequences ripple far beyond one man's fate. Stripped of the life he once knew, Rex must navigate a world that sees him as both miracle and monster. His transformation grants unimaginable power, but at the cost of his humanity, forcing him to confront what heroism truly means when survival, love, and identity are no longer certain.

Blending pulp adventure with emotional consequence, Dan Jurgens delivers a modernized origin that honors Metamorpho's classic legacy while redefining him for a new generation. Bold, character-driven artwork by Eisner Award-winning artist Mike Norton (Battlepug) and Jesse Delperdang (Batman and Son) gives Rex Mason's transformation a visceral sense of power, loss, and momentum. This is the birth of Metamorpho-and the moment everything changes.
