The Doctor previously came across ‘The Time Surgeon’ when he fought the Boneless in a comic book store. Now he’s whisked away the comic’s creators – writer Sonny and artist Val – on a tour of the universe. Val and Sonny have lost their way, both personally and professionally.
Can a trip through time and space re-energise their creative partnership? It was all going so well until the Doctor, Val, and Sonny landed on a planet under the control of the Mindmorphis – floating intelligences who want to steal their minds – starting with the Doctor’s!
