Consensual Violence

Consensual Violence Synopsis

Some people say pro wrestling is fake-Krysten Moore knows better.

Hungry for a better life, shy, dog-loving Krysten reinvents herself as a fierce lucha libre star in Mexico. In the gym, she trains against her inner demons and physical blows to distance herself from weakness. But when her trusted trainer-once a wrestling legend-betrays her with brutal violence, her dream career becomes a fight for survival against the corruption of prevailing champions.

From the shadows of El Paso to the blood-soaked rings of Juarez, Krysten's quest for vengeance explodes into a bloodthirsty war against corrupt promoters, cartel killers, and anyone complicit in her abuse. Armed with grit, female rage, and her wrestling persona, she delivers her own brand of vigilante justice-one bone-crushing blow at a time.

Consensual Violence is a relentless tale of revenge, redemption, and the dark underbelly of lucha libre, from Del James, author of The Language of Fear.
