Lizzy Brinks has it all under control. At least that's what she'd tell you.

Smart, calm and just a little terrifying, she's the woman who fixes everything - except her own life. Between caring for her family, wrangling her escape-artist cat Pebble, and keeping her boss Esme Kaminska's art empire afloat, Lizzy doesn't have time for romance.

Then Esme connects with influencer Ajax Banks, and Lizzy's world collides with his right-hand man, Oliver MacLeod. He's charming. He's infuriating. He's far too good-looking to be trustworthy. And now she's supposed to work with him on a catastrophic new dating app idea.

When a work trip to Venice leads to some disastrous revelations, Lizzy must decide if she can stay cool when her heart's on the line.

Because sometimes, love is the one thing you just can't plan for.
