The delivery of modern nursing care is essentially a team effort, that is a team whose individuals co-operate with one another to achieve high standards. This book, drawing on the expertise of successful nurse managers, a nurse educator and a management lecturer, provides the reader with 'tools' to enable him or her review and develop their 'people-management' skills. The 'tools' are in the form of exercises and activities designed to help the reader apply theory to practice and to take the learning back to the work-place.
