Excerpt from Select Letters of Cicero: Literally Translated
Francis G. Russell, 8. J., Librarian and Professor of Grech, St. Francis Xavier' s College, 30 West Sixteenth Street, New York: To say that I am greatly pleased with it (classic greek-english english-greek Dictionary), is to praise it even less than it deserves. I find it quite to my liking, and I am confident that wherever used, it will be highly appro cisted alike by teacher and pupil, and give full antisine tion. (introduced) March 10, 1893.
Rev. 5. Guilbaud, Professor of Greek, St. Charles Col lege, Ellicott City, Your greek-english and English Greek Dictionary has been unanimously adopted by our College board. We will also take a certain number of copies of the english-greek separate, because many of our students who have the greek-english are without the english-greek. About 170 students follow the Greek course; so we will need a good supply of dictionaries.
