In an adobe home in New Mexico, Homer Boss's (1882-1956) life's work and and accomplishments were revealed to their niece, Susan S. Udell, after his and his wife's death. A multitude of arresting paintings, scrapbooks, papers, and oral histories relating to his New Mexico years, as well as to his influential teaching days at the Independent School of Art and the Art Students League in New York City, flesh out Boss's life and work.
