Excerpt from Secretary's Seventh Report: Harvard College Class of 1893

This list contains every name (so far as ascertainable) ever associated with the Class, all thrown into one alphabetical order. The names in small capitals are those of men who entered with the class in 1889 and received the ab. In 1893. In all other cases the relation to the class is given below the name.

Many men who did not receive the ab. In 1893 have request ed that their names be removed from the list, usually because they were already associated with some other class. A few such men, who had never been heard from since leaving college, when finally located by the Secretary have not felt sufficient interest in '93 even to answer a duly received registered letter enclosing a post-card for reply. The Secretary has taken it upon himself to remove these names also from the active list. All names re moved are indicated by brackets, and the reasons given.
