Jules Beaurian was once the chief of Brussels' crack anti-terrorist squad. Now he's the commander of Telescope. Unofficial, unauthorised and utterly effective, it's the toughest strike force in the world.

But now Telescope is confronted by its most deadly enemy so far - The Syndicate. Using blackmail, bribery and blind terror, it is close to controlling the West's economy.

Helped by contacts in the twilight world of security and intelligence, Beaurain aims to locate and eliminate his enemy's mysterious leaders. But The Syndicate, preparing a vicious counter-attack, radios the command 'Zenith' to all agents.
