Tarek Al-Arbi Omar Ganat, Assoc. Professor, a recipient of the Chartered Engineer CEng (EI) member, was born in 1968. He earned a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Tripoli University, Libya, in 1991, and M.Sc. degree in "Petroleum Engineering" from ISE University- Spain/Madrid in 2003, M.Sc. degree in "Engineering Management," from Tripoli University, Libya. 2005, and Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the International Islamic University of Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia, in 2016. The author had more than 27 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. He worked with Jowef Oil services, Repsol oil Company, Petro-Canada Oil Company, and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn in Malaysia. More than twenty-seven years of work experience was developed in both the oil and gas industry and academia and largely focused on well testing and reservoir engineering studies and application software development.
