Soney C George, PhD, is Dean of Research and Director of the Amal Jyothi Centre for Nanoscience and Technology, Kerala, India. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, and a recipient of "best researcher of the year" award in 2018 from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He has also received awards such as best faculty award from the Indian Society for Technical Education, best citation award from the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, a fast-track award of young scientists by Department of Science & Technology, India, and an Indian young scientist award instituted by the Indian Science Congress Association. He did his postdoctoral studies at the University of Blaise Pascal, France, and Inha University, South Korea. He has published and presented almost 200 publications in journals and at conferences.
