Having taken part in the Royal Court Young Writers' scheme, Robin was selected as one of six writers for Future Perfect (Paines Plough/Channel 4) in 2005.  In He was the only writer to have plays in different pods of the Flight 5065 project on the London Eye (June 2005, AFRICA for The Royal Court & PIGEON for Paines Plough).  In October of the same year, he was chosen by The Observeras one of the country's up and coming talents.  Gilbert Is Dead is his first full-length play.
