Pu Miao is an architect and architectural scholar based in Shanghai, China and Honolulu, USA. He established the Maio Design Studio in the early 1990s. His built designs have been featured in numerous international journals and Chinese periodicals. He has written extensively on urban design, garden theory, architectural education and design criticism. He is a Professor at the School of Architecture, University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA.
