Peter Lloyd was born in London and raised in Kent. After higher education in Dundee (MA) and Edinburgh (PhD), he became a Senior Lecturer in Developmental Psychology at the University of Manchester until 2004 He is the author of a number of academic books, and an active member of local U3A.
