P. P. Nikhil Raj is a transdisciplinary academician. He has been undertaking research and teaching activities in the core area of environment and sustainability. Dr. Raj's research question broadly lies in understanding how natural systems tolerate/check the changing scenario of climate and the pressures from various anthropogenic pressures; he is fascinated by studying the trade-off between the social and the environmental systems and the crucial roles played by money and political power in shaping them.
