MARK MCGILLIVRAY is Research Chair in International Development at the Alfred Deakin Research Institute. His previous positions include Chief Economist of the Australian Agency for International Development and Deputy Director of the World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University. Mark's research interests include aid allocation and effectiveness, measuring multidimensional well-being achievement and international inequality in well-being INDRANIL DUTTA is currently a Brooks World Poverty Institute Lecturer in Economics at the University of Manchester. Prior to this he was a Research Fellow at the World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University.
