Kirsi Juhila is Professor in Social Work at the University of Tampere, Finland. Her research interests include adult social work, marginality, homelessness, mental health and discursive interaction analysis. She is the co-editor of Analysing Social Work Communication (Routledge, 2014) and Constructing Clienthood in Social Work and Human Services (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2003) Suvi Raitakari received her Ph.D. in social work from the University of Tampere in 2006 and is currently a Senior Lecturer in social work at the same university. Her research interests include welfare policies and practices, client-worker interaction, mental health and substance abuse issues, marginalisation, homelessness and housing support, rhetoric and ethnomethodological-discursive approaches. Christopher Hall is Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Social Work and Social Care, University of Sussex. He has previously held research posts at Durham University, Huddersfield University and Dartington Social Researc
