Julian C. H. Lee is a Lecturer in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He previously held an Economic and Social Research Council postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Kent. He is the editor of The Malaysian Way of Life (2010) and his articles have appeared in journals including Anthropological Forum, Anthropology Todayand Social Movement Studies. He is also involved in organisations that advocate for sexuality rights and women's rights in Malaysia.
