Hemen Dutta is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at Gauhati University, India. He did his Master of Science in Mathematics, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, M.Phil in Mathematics and Ph.D. in Mathematics, respectively. His current topics of research interest are in the areas of mathematical analysis and modelling. He has to his credit over 170 research works as journal articles, book chapters and conference proceedings papers. He has also published several books including reference books, edited volumes and conference proceedings. He is also on the editorial board of some SCI-Exp. and Scopus indexed journals. He has organized many academic events and associated with several other events in different capacities. He has delivered several invited talks and served as resource person at national and international levels. He has also visited some foreign academic institutions on invitations.
