Books By Darren Evans - Author

Darren Anthony Evans FRSA is a British author from the village of Pontypridd, whose writing explores social responsibility, human welfare, and the role of ideas in shaping understanding and empathy. He writes across non-fiction, fiction, and children's literature, with a particular interest in place, ethics, and imagination. His research-led non-fiction includes World Poverty: What Has Been Done, a reflective and accessible introduction to global inequality. The book has been accepted into the libraries of the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Society of Medicine and has been described by an Emeritus Professor at the University of Manchester as "a clear and accessible introduction to global poverty, especially valuable for general readers and early university study." Darren has had articles published in Royal Society of Medicine Connect Magazine and on the Royal Society of Arts online platform, including work on the future role of artificial intelligence in developing greener power stations. His writing is held in legal deposit and national collections including the British Library, the Bodleian Library, Cambridge University Library, and the National Library of Wales. All of his books raise funds for humanitarian charities. His forthcoming titles include the novel The Ink of a City and the children's book Selwyn the Dragon of Snowdonia, which was inspired by the aftermath of Storm Dennis and reflects on flooding, economic deprivation, and the dignity and purpose found in helping others within a Welsh community. Darren is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine, and a Rotarian with interests in global foundations, community charities, and the support of young musicians.
