Dr. Nguyen joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University in December 1990, after working for more than twelve years in industry, and is currently the Texas Instruments Endowed Professor. He was Program Director at the National Science Foundation during 2003–2004, where he was responsible for research programs in RF electronics and wireless technologies.
