Books By Boyd Cable - Author

During World War I, British author and war writer Ernest Andrew Ewart wrote under the pen name Boyd Cable. On December 2, 1879, he was born in Bombay, British India (now Mumbai, India), and he passed away in Bures, Suffolk, England, on June 14, 1943. Initially, Ernest Andrew Ewart attended the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich in an effort to pursue a career in the military. But after quitting the army, he started writing and went by the pen name "Boyd Cable" to launch his writing career. Since he was a war correspondent during World War I, Cable is best recognised for his gritty and realistic war writings. His paintings frequently portrayed the difficult circumstances and difficulties that soldiers encountered in the trenches. His 1915 book "Between the Lines," which offers an accurate account of life on the Western Front during the war, is one of his most well-known works.
