Michaela and colleagues do a parachute jump for charity.  Michaela is a little sceptical but does eventually jump.  Sailing through a glorious, clear blue sky she suddenly lands in darkness … six years later.  As you might imagine, she and her friends and family have a problem coming to terms with this.  The police believe she had been abducted.  One of the lovely things for me about this book is the time zone but I won’t explain what I mean; I just enjoyed the way it was handled.

Melanie Rose was an avid reader from an early age and found herself looking at the world around her and wondering 'what if?' She began writing as a teenager, progressing to short stories and articles for magazines and newspapers. She trained as a nursery nurse and later became a play therapist on the children's ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital, continuing to write in her spare time.
