Lovereading view...
The road for Bella and Edward is never going to be a smooth one and
after an incident that puts Bella’s life in danger Edward decides he
must leave her “as if he had never existed”. In the following months
Bella is like a shell of her former self and it is only the growing
friendship she finds with Jacob that helps her through. In this story
we focus on Bella and Jacob and the changes that Jacob suddenly finds
himself going through, changes which go a long way to explaining his
complete dislike of Edward.
Vampires, werewolves, teenage love
and all the complications of relationships are brilliantly told with
action and romance equally balanced. Stephenie Meyer has a knack for
making this supernatural world seem absolutely normal and
plausible. This series goes from strength to strength.

Synopsis
New Moon - Twilight Saga Book 2 by Stephenie Meyer
The dramatic sequel to Twilight, following the tale of a teenage girl whose love for a vampire gets her into trouble. I stuck my finger under the edge of the paper and jerked it under the
tape. 'Shoot,' I muttered when the paper sliced my finger. A single
drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly
then. 'No!' Edward roared ...Dazed and disorientated, I looked up from
the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm - and into the fevered eyes
of the six suddenly ravenous vampires. For Bella Swan, there is one
thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love
with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined.
Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of an evil vampire
but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and
dear to them, they realise their troubles may just be beginning.

Stephenie Meyer’s life changed dramatically on June 2, 2003. The
stay-at-home mother of three young sons woke-up from a dream featuring
seemingly real characters that she could not get out of her head. She
said 'I stayed in bed, thinking about the dream. Unwillingly, I
eventually got up and did the immediate necessities, and then put
everything that I possibly could on the back burner and sat down at the
computer to write'.
Three months later she finished her first novel, Twilight and
it became one of 2005’s most talked about novels and made it on to the
New York Times bestseller list. The Twilight series has continued with
even greater success in the US with New Moon, Eclipse and now the fourth one in the captivating Twilight series of vampire romance and suspense is just published here in the UK, Breaking Dawn.
This unforgettable series features a teenager’s forbidden love for a
vampire is passionate, riveting and deeply moving and has captivated
audiences the world over. Don’t miss it. Why not read an extract now….
