Plenty of red herrings to keep you guessing in the first of a new detective series by Elena Forbes.
She writes with a chilling tone and has created interesting characters with plenty of scope for them to grow in books to come. It has a particularly good ending as it was not the most predictable of outcomes. This will definitely be a series to follow with interest.
