First Thunder

First Thunder Synopsis

Witness the thunderous first meeting between the Man of Steel and Earth's Mightiest Mortal in this thrilling tale of magic, mayhem and monsters! While Superman must stop members of a cult from stealing ancient artifacts from the Metropolis Natural History Museum, Billy Batson must battle giant robots rampaging through the streets of Fawcett City. Superman and Shazam! are on the case, but so are Lex Luthor, Dr.

Sivana, Eclipso and the monstrous Sabbac! Judd Winick (Batman: Under the Red Hood, Outsiders) brings rare emotional depth to the first meeting between Superman and Captain Marvel, capturing the innocence, fear, and heart that define Billy Batson's double life. Paired with Josh Middleton's (Supergirl) lush, evocative art, this story becomes a meditation on responsibility, identity, and what it means to guide someone who carries the weight of the world far too young.
