Once upon a time in Comedyland, Andy and Scott, two full-time nightclub bouncers and part time failing comedians, witness the ultimate put down when comedy superstar Chris Hardy shoots a heckler in front of a sell-out crowd... and gets away with it.

Now, on the eve of the biggest comedy tour the country has ever seen, opening at the largest arena ever built, Chris suddenly disappears. Millions are at stake, but where is the star?

Andy and Scott are each offered the chance to revive their floundering stand up careers if they can locate the missing superstar. Unable to resist the opportunity to climb the comedy ladder, both accept. What neither man knows is that they have been hired to do the same job for two different organisations, each with its own agenda. Once friends, they now find themselves bitter rivals in a race to the punchline.

Set in the dark underbelly of the comedy world, this cautionary tale explores a place where crossing the line can be deadly, where success comes at a price and where comedians will do whatever it takes to keep audiences dying for a laugh.
