Associate Professor Luis Baringo achieved his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, in 2009, 2010 and 2013 respectively. He then worked as a researcher at University College Dublin and ETH Zurich, before returning to Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in 2016, where he is now an associate professor. He has published over 30 journal and conference papers, 4 book chapters and 3 books. Associate Professor Miguel Carrión gained his BS and PhD from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in 2003 and 2008 respectively. He then worked in various academic positions at the same institution, before becoming Associate Professor in 2017. He has authored or co-authored over 40 journal articles, several conference papers, 3 book chapters and 1 book. His primary research interests are in operations, planning, and economics of electric energy systems, electricity markets, mathematical programming, stochastic programming.
