Alan Wright

Alan Wright was born, and still lives, in Wigan. A graduate of Leeds University, he taught English for several years in secondary schools but now works as a Secondary Consultant for the Graduate Teacher Programme. In 2009 Alan was shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger Award, and has written three musical plays. He is married with three grown-up children, and loves all things Victorian.
