All in all a good read, I would recommend to others.
I was a little unsure about reading Satan's Gut, Sausage Boats and Ice Kisses, weird title and not usually my sort of thing. I was pleasantly surprised however, the book was easy to read and very funny in places! I did find the history chapters a bit lengthy and not for me, however the stories about the actual trips were great, factual but full of humour and made for interesting reading. The chapter I liked the best was about travelling to the Arctic and the problems with the ice melting. I found the account of riding the Colorado River a bit too detailed for my taste, but no doubt for others it would be the most interesting! All in all a good read, I would recommend to others.
