Two men offer Leila two very different futures. Will she choose with her heart or with her faith? Leila Lantz has been in love with Jesse Glick from the day she first saw him at his father's store, but she can't make sense of his intentions. One day he wants to come courting, the next he seems to be putting distance between them. Jesse may be the bishop's son, but his faith has been wavering of late. If he is so unsure, is it fair to give Leila false hope for a future he doubts he can provide? Then there's Will, Jesse's cousin. He has been trying to keep his feelings for Leila a secret, but he also knows Jesse is wrestling with his faith. Would declaring his feelings for Leila be in her best interest or simply serving his own selfish desires? Leila knows she can choose Will and be secure in her own future. But when her heart speaks, it's Jesse's name she hears. When will God make His will known to her? Could leaving everything she knows-even her own faith-be a part of God's plan?
Hatcher writes with realism and compassion about how hope and healing can grow from our deepest wounds. -Beth K. Vogt, Christy Award-winning author Can two broken paths lead toward God's redemption? When Ashley Showalter and Ben Henning meet on Ashley's horse rescue farm, they quickly discover how much they have in common. Both were raised by single moms. Both want to help where they see a need. And both work with horses in the Boise valley. Ben needs Ashley's help and expertise after starting an equine therapy barn on his great-great-grandfather's farm-and the more time they spend together, both Ashley and Ben have the feeling that there could be something more between them. They also carry the burden of past experiences that may drive them apart if the truth is ever revealed. Ben is a recovering alcoholic with five years of sobriety behind him, while Ashley's brother is an opioid addict residing in court-ordered rehab. Holding fast to the belief that addicts can never be cured, Ashley has promised herself she will never walk knowingly into the chaos created by addiction. Ben knows that with God, all things are possible-but will Ashley find it within herself to give love a chance? Or will her brother's mistakes and the pain of her past jeopardize her future with Ben? Cross My Heart threads together a contemporary love story with the heartwarming tale of Ben's great-great-grandfather, Andrew Henning-reminding us that God's Word is timeless and that His promises are new every morning.
A thoughtful, comical, thoroughly entertaining relationship story with a difference. Kelly is an introverted perfectionist, she is also a leading robotics engineer. When she feels overwhelming pressure from her family to find a date for her sister’s wedding, it makes complete sense to build her own boyfriend… doesn’t it? I instantly fell into the pages, this is such a delightfully readable tale, made all the more refreshing by Kelly’s family and friends. If this were a film, it would be billed as an offbeat Hollywood romcom. It borders on the quirky (perhaps more than borders with a robot as the romantic interest!). The chaos surrounding Kelly’s decision snowballs, creating smirks, and also intrigue, how on earth was she going to rescue the situation? While Sarah Archer embraces fantastical, she also focuses on legitimate thoughts and feelings, creating a wonderful and original balance. How to Build A Boyfriend From Scratch is a positive, smile-filled, engaging read, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

What she finds instead is a dead body. Lane must work with Walton's newest deputy, Charlie Lynch, to uncover the truth behind the murder. But when that truth hits too close to home, she'll have to decide if saving the life of another is worth the cost of revealing her darkest secret. Debut novelist Natalie Walters pulls you to the edge of your seat on the first page and keeps you there until the last in this riveting story that will have you believing no one is defined by their past.
The full-length sunny follow-up to the snowy short story, Christmas at Sandcastle Cottage. It's a glorious summer in Firefly Common, the old-fashioned seaside village where Kitty Appleby (almost forty, recently-single, a bit of a Julia Roberts look-alike) and her friends, Apollo and Jemini, rent the delightful Sandcastle Cottage. But life is far from being all sunshine and lollipops as Kitty's elderly neighbours, the kindly but overbearing Mr H and his wife, keep reminding her, very soon Mavis Mulholland - the owner of Sandcastle Cottage - will return from her lottery-winning round-the-world-cruise, and will want her home back. Kitty, Apollo, and Jemini found themselves desperately on the brink of homelessness just before Christmas, and having to face this again is devastating. And the idea of leaving Firefly Common without finding out more about the enigmatic, mysterious Vinny pulls at Kitty's heart. As the scorchingly gorgeous Firefly Common summer unfurls, as Apollo and Jemini try to make their dreams come true, as Kitty tries hard not to fall spectacularly stupidly in love, and as Mavis Mulholland's cruise ship nears port - who will end up living happily ever after? And where...?
