Lovereading view...

A successful couple give up on their highflying life and start another in a popular seaside resort. Enter lots of characters who link, entwine and entertain us. With each actually coming alive, they are skilfully developed so you become involved with them all, a very clever working in a lovely book, both thought-provoking, at times tender but also light and amusing. It was originally published by Penguin a few years ago but her new publisher had a big seller with The Beach House and felt new fans may have missed this. Veronica Henry has revisited it.

If you like Veronica Henry you might also like to read books by Amanda Brookfield, Carole Matthews and Claudia Carroll.
