This is one of the best books involving legal issues that I have seen. It is practical, well organized, and thorough. Specific court cases and findings clearly illuminate the intent of the law, giving the administrator guidance in making sound legal decisions. This book would be an excellent reference for any administrator's collection. -- Sharon M. It is organized in a way that allows quick and easy access to the legal guidelines and mandates educators negotiate on a daily basis. -- Dolores M. Henson, Professor of Education As a frequent instructor of school law, I have seen a ton of school law texts. Nathan Essex's book is a wonderful resource that I will be using with my students. His question-and-answer format allows educators to get the quick background they need to help them make decisions in the classroom and beyond. This is a reference that every educator should have handy. -- David Keller Trevaskis, Adjunct Professor of School Law This is a great reference book that has both the theoretical and the practical bases to enhance the knowledge level of teachers and school leaders.
