About the Author

Simon Furman is a writer for comic books and TV animation, his name inextricably linked to Transformers, the 80s toy phenomenon. He has written literally hundreds of stories about the war-torn robots in disguise, for Marvel Comics (US and UK), Dreamwave, and IDW Publishing. His titles for the latter include Transformers: Infiltration, Escalation, Devastation & Revelation; Maximum Dinobots; Beast Wars: The Gathering & The Ascending; Transformers: Stormbringer, Transformers: Nefarious and Transformers: Spotlight. His other comic book credits include Doctor Who, Death's Head, Death's Head 3.0, Alpha Flight, Turok, She-Hulk, Robocop, What If?, StarCraft, Wallace & Gromit, and Torchwood. In the TV animation field, Furman has written on shows including Beast Wars, Dan Dare, X-Men: Evolution, and A.T.O.M., and served as lead writer and script supervisor on The Matt Hatter Chronicles. Editorially, Furman worked on Titan Books' range of Transformers titles and their Comics Creators series. He is also the author of numerous books, including Rad Robots, Transformers: The Ultimate Guide, You Can Draw Transformers and a Doctor Who audio adventure ( The Axis of Insanity ). Nick Roche is an Irish comic book artist and writer who hails from Dublin. He's best known for his extensive credits on IDW's Transformers titles, the most prominent of which are Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers, Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers, and numerous covers for Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye, to which he also contributed stories and interior art. Nick has also worked on IDW's Doctor Who series and the creator-owned, all-ages horror comedy Monster Motors, with Minions screenwriter Brian Lynch. Beyond IDW, he's worked on New Warriors for Marvel and serves as the album artist and music video designer for rock band The Darkness.
