Synopsis

The Green Enamel Kid by John Godfrey

Take a unique look at life through the eyes of a Southern Baptist (PK) preacher's kid named Johnny. His story, set in the late 1950's and early 1960's, will take you on an interesting journey beginning at his home in Nashville Tennessee, then on to summer camp. Eventually through a series of unusual events he ends up in another small rural Tennessee town in a barn with what appears to be...a dead cow! Johnny is by nature a somewhat distrusting young man and the circumstances he faces throughout this book add to his doubts and fears about his parents ultimate intentions for him. However, in the end Johnny finds out that things are not always as the seem and the truth is revealed . The Green Enamel Kid is an unusual adventure, so join in and enjoy the ride!
