Beyond Starlight by James Abbey

Synopsis

Beyond Starlight by James Abbey

Is Beyond Starlight a true story that hopped a cosmic ride from elsewhere in another universe as Abbey suggests, you decide. Out past Pluto, the crew of the Sunchaser encounters an alien self replicating probe that scatters them across parallel universes and time in the multiverse. While trying to find their way back, they encounter sentient machine encephalons, planets that move at the whims of gray goo nanobots and discover what lies beyond starlight in the void at the edge of the universe. When two of the crew are saved by a benign sentient device called a Watcher and remade to be more than human, it prompts one to ask angrily Watcher, do I have a soul, do I now call you god? Eventually they fall into the dark energy well of the Genesis Point located at the ignition point of the big bang. Have they uncovered the backdoor that leads to the architects of the universe? Take a read, your universe will never be the same.
