Lovereading view...

Mr Chicken has left his safe world sets off on a global adventure. He's on a whistle-stop tour of Paris and, like a good tourist, he's doing all the famous sites, accompanied by his French friend, Yvette. But it's not easy blending in when you're a giant yellow plucked chicken. This is a funny and wonderfully strange picture book that will introduce simple words and phrases in a humorous and memorable way. There are plenty of subtle jokes to tickle grown-ups too.

Reviews

'Very good fun'
Angels and Urchins

'A jolly piece of nonsense ... it's a wonderful first book to inspire a young traveller, filled with colour about the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and other distant famous places for a sophisticated, if fanciful, story'
Junior
