Jacques Helleu joined the house of Chanel aged eighteen. In 1965 he took over responsibility for promotion. He has an infallible eye and an aesthetic sense in complete harmony with that established by Gabrielle Chanel. Laurence Benaim is a journalist who founded the magazine Stiletto in 2003, where she is now production director.
