Synopsis

Heathen by Shaun Hutson

Donna Ward was shattered when her husband was killed in a car crash, devastated to learn that another woman had been with him and disbelieving when the police informed her that the crash had been no accident. How could her beloved Chris, a bestselling author, have any enemies? How long had he had a mistress? And who are the mysterious men in the photographs she finds? Suddenly Donna has to face up to the fact that she knows less about her husband than she thought. But as she searches for the missing answers to her questions, Donna moves ever closer to danger, for she herself is being stalked by people who have killed before and will do so again. She will come face to face with those who call themselves the Sons of Midnight ...

About the Author

Shaun Hutson

Born and brought up in Hertfordshire, Shaun Hutson now lives and writes in Buckinghamshire where he has lived since 1986.

After being expelled from school, he worked at many jobs, including a cinema doorman, a barman, and a shop assistant - all of which he was sacked from - before becoming a professional author in 1983.

He has since written 26 bestselling novels as well as writing for radio, magazines and television. Shaun has also written exclusively for the Internet, a short story entitled RED STUFF and an interactive story, SAVAGES, both of which can be found on the 'Exclusives' page.

Having made his name as a horror author with bestsellers such as SPAWN, EREBUS, RELICS and DEATHDAY (acquiring the nicknames 'The Godfather of Gore' and 'The Shakespeare of Gore' in the process) he has since produced a number of very dark urban thrillers such as LUCY'S CHILD, STOLEN ANGELS, WHITE GHOST and PURITY. His latest novel, entitled NECESSARY EVIL, has just been published.
