About the Author

Janet Woods writes popular fiction and her style encompasses contemporary romance, mainstream fiction and historical romances set in the 18th century. One of them, Daughter of Darkness won a major prize from over 600 novels in the Australian Woman's Day/Random House contest. Over forty of her short stories have been published internationally in popular women's magazines. She also has two stories for children published in educational series and has been included in two anthologies. Twice awarded the Bronze Quill for short story writing, Janet started writing fifteen years ago.She belongs to several writer organisations both in Australia and overseas, and was recently awarded life membership of The Society of Women Writers.
