Late Summer Flowers by Marina Christopher, Steven Wooster, Daniel J. Hinkley

While gardeners may be happy enough with their gardens in spring and early summer, few feel so confident about prolonging the display. In Late Summer Flowers Marina Christopher, co-founder of the celebrated Green Farm Nursery, shows how, by choosing plants that have a late flowering season, or offer such bonuses as attractive foliage, seedheads or berries, you can get the best from the garden in late summer and autumn.

An informative guide and indulgent read for any enthusiasts of the late summer look, and a game changer, perhaps, for those who have never considered it before. English Garden A must for anyone who wishes that their garden had a more vibrant colour from August through to the edge of winter. Garden News Informative and readable, Marina's book will help the gardener feel confident about prolonging the summer display... A really useful book for the garden library. Reckless Gardener One of the best books on this subject has just come out in paperback edition. First published 5 years ago, it is still completely relevant today. Irish Times Just what the gardener needs to help prolong a good display. Image Interiors Will add interest to your garden as summer turns to autumn. Amateur Gardening Just what the gardener needs to help prolong a good display. Image Interiors An excellent guide for those planning or replanting their borders. Irish Garden If there were gaps in your borders in August or September, then this book will help you fill them. Professional Gardener
