Gweledigaeth yr Oesoedd Canol Diwylliant Gweledol Cymru

Gweledigaeth yr Oesoedd Canol Diwylliant Gweledol Cymru by Peter Lord

This final volume in The Visual Culture of Wales series focuses on the period extending from the collapse of the Roman government in the fifth century to the Renaissance of the 15th and early 16th centuries.

' ... cyfrol hardd a lliwgar ... ceir dros 440 o luniau lliw bendigedig sy'n datgelu'r cyfoeth rhyfeddol o ddelweddau o'r Oesoedd Canol sydd wedi goroesi yng Nghymru - yn groesau a bedyddfeini, ffenestri lliw trawiadol a llawysgrifau cain. Mae llawer o'r gwrthrychau hyn yn cael eu hatgynhyrchu am y tro cyntaf ... '
Llais Llen

'The service that his project has done in re-excavating and cataloguing work in Wales is of immense importance. He has cast his net more widely than his predecessors, developing arguments about the cultural significance of neglected artists ... phenomenal amounts of information.'

- The Welsh Internationalist)
