Dead Girls by Nancy Lee

Dead Girls by Nancy Lee

Infused by eroticism, poignancy and a deep awareness of the desires, delusions and fears that compel us to do the things we do, Dead Girls boldly announces an original new voice in contemporary fiction. Subtly linked by the background narrative of a serial killer's arrest in Vancouver, these stories inhabit a dark, urban landscape as they journey into the realm of desperate relationships, of power and impulse, emotional wagers and negotiations.

'Lee uses words with forensic compassion, her stories shivery, thrilling pieces of emotional noir. An unusually intelligent debut.'

; 'Graceful and wintry... beautiful.

; 'These are moving and gripping stories... Read them.
Yann Martel

; 'A joy to read.
