About the Author

Sarah Mcconnell

Born in Oakham, Rutland, Sarah grew up in the Leicestershire countryside. As a child she drew all the time and on everything she could find. She'd frequently chalk murals on the driveway. At the age of nine she won a school art competition and decided she wanted to be an artist. This determination never wavered and after seven years at art college Sarah produced her first picture book, the perfect creative outlet for her humour.
