Don't Mention the Pirates by Sarah Mcconnell

Lovereading view...

A brilliant pirate story for the very young with beautiful illustrations to complement the fun storyline. At last there’s a book for toddlers who are too young to watch Pirates of the Caribbean but can share the experience of the world of pirates with the rest of the family. Girls particularly will love this.

About the Author

Sarah Mcconnell

Born in Oakham, Rutland, Sarah grew up in the Leicestershire countryside. As a child she drew all the time and on everything she could find. She'd frequently chalk murals on the driveway. At the age of nine she won a school art competition and decided she wanted to be an artist. This determination never wavered and after seven years at art college Sarah produced her first picture book, the perfect creative outlet for her humour.
