The Clinical Care of the Aged Person An Interdisciplinary Perspective

The Clinical Care of the Aged Person An Interdisciplinary Perspective by David G., MD. (Harvard Medical School) Satin

This book is unique in its broad approach to the care of the aged. It provides information on the health problems and care of the aged and a comprehensive, integrated approach to care which can be applied the the health care of any population. The interdisciplinary approach is supported by multi-authored chapters and case studies by interdisciplinary teams. The integrated health model this book presents will be useful for all clinicians and policy makers involved in the health care of the aged.

this is really an impressive reference for any professional working with geriatric individuals ... There are also excellent chapters on emotional and cognitive issues of the aged and the aging family ... by the end the professionals accomplished a variety of tasks while demonstrating a solid aspect for one another and clearly placing the interests of the client above their own. * Kathryn Betts Adams, Clinical Gerontologist *
