About Cyrus Todiwala

Born in Bombay, Cyrus Todiwala went against his parents wishes and studied to become a chef. He trained at the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces chain in India, and rose to become executive chef for eleven restaurants within those hotels. In 1991, he moved to London with his family to run the Namast restaurant where he developed his trademark style of blending traditional Indian techniques and flavours with more unexpected ingredients.
