Johnson’s annual pocket wine guide is packed with information on grape varieties, with specific information presented by country, and within that by region, on over 6000 wines and growers. He gives advice on which wines you can enjoy now, and which vintages will get better with age, and he matches wine with food. This is definitely the serious wine-drinker’s guide.
