October 2011 Book of the Month.

This heartbreaking story of an unforgettable love affair will delight fans of Cecelia Ahern's PS I Love You, David Nicholl's One Day, and fans of Lisa Jewell. Linda has a great writing style which is almost effortless but be prepared to laugh and to cry. A great read...

Synopsis

And Then it Happened by Linda Green

How would you feel if the only man you'd ever loved was taken away from you? And imagine how he'd feel if he hadn't really been taken away at all - but couldn't find a way to let you know...Mel Taylor was thirteen years old when she found her Mr Right. Twenty years on they are blissfully in love. She has the man she adores, a gorgeous daughter, a great job and a dream home. But Mel's happiness is spoilt by a dark secret and a niggling fear that her good fortune can't last for ever. Despite her husband Adam's efforts to reassure her that nothing bad is going to happen, Mel can't shake the feeling that someone is about to call time on their happiness. And then it happens...

About the Author

Linda Green

Linda Green wrote her first novella at age nine. Unfortunately the pony-based, time-travel thriller genre never took off. She did, however, go on to become an award-winning journalist and has written for the Guardian, the Independent on Sunday and The Big Issue. Linda lives in West Yorkshire, is married to a sports photographer for a national newspaper and has a six-year-old son.
