Men I've Loved Before by Adele Parks

Lovereading view...

Packed with comedy and attitude but also tender and observant we love Adele’s thoroughly modern rom com’s. In Men I’ve Loved Before commitment, marriage and potential parenthood make Nat look into her ‘black book’ of previous relationships to question whether she has chosen ‘the one’ or not.

If you like Adele Parks you might also like to read books by Fiona Neill, Maria Beaumont and Lisa Jewell.

Men I've Loved Before by Adele Parks

Highly praised as a 'fabulous mix of comedy, real life and emotional depth' (Daily Express) MEN I'VE LOVED BEFORE is a fabulously addictive read from the top ten bestseller. Neil and Nat seem to be perfectly matched. They hate Marmite and the opera. They love reality TV and the missionary position. And they both absolutely do not want children. At least that's what Nat thought. But now Neil seems to have softened to the prospect and he's practically begging her for a baby. Nat tries to ignore his change of heart and won't explain her reasons for hating the idea; she can't. Are they that compatible after all? As the cracks start to show, Nat wonders if Neil really is the man of her dreams. Or is it possible that someone from her past could actually be 'the one'?

'A dazzling new novel full of emotional set-pieces and real insight into relationships between men and women'

'Observant, sensitive, funny, we like this a lot!'

'One of the great things about Parks's characters is that even though you don't know them, you feel like you very well could do... Brilliantly written, engaging and a pleasure to read'
Daily Mirror

'Adele Parks's novels are a fabulous mix of comedy, real life and emotional depth and her 10th, MEN I'VE LOVED BEFORE, is no exception'
Daily Express

'Crisp dialogue and canny details make this a novel you might actually relax with: no need to call it a guilty pleasure with someone this experienced at the helm'
Independent on Sunday
